Deborah Segun is a 30-year-old Nigerian artist who lives and works in Lagos, Nigeria. Segun studied at Italy’s prestigious Polimoda school in Florence — one of the top art schools in the world.
Segun is known for her use of complimenting color schemes to create bright, bold, abstracted depictions of the black female form. She creates striking pieces that also evoke a certain serenity.
Segun’s work has attracted the attention of the international arts community with showings all over the world.
