Ballislife has been at the forefront of the 1 v. 1 streetball revolution from the jump, hosting groundbreaking events with the world’s best ballers from coast to coast. However, what we hadn’t yet established was a definitive championship system, a title belt lineage and a legitimate way of truly determining who the top 1 v. 1 players are.
Until now.
Today, Ballislife is officially unveiling the One on One Championship. Our mission is to make this the premier 1 v. 1 promotional platform on the planet. The 1 v. 1 scene has largely remained independent of a league-like structure, instead relying on storytelling through video content to discover the next potential pay-per-view-worthy matchup.
1 vs. 1s: Legitimizing the Sport with Structure
With the One on One Championship, the goal is to consolidate what the sport encompasses all in one place with a constant flow of content, events and more. We envision a sport that goes beyond U.S. borders, one where countries across the globe adopt our rules, play, structure and pride in their representation. Ballislife will continue legitimizing the sport with weight classes, pound for pound rankings and monthly events where the results will determine who gets to play on our most important pay-per-view cards throughout the year.
On the editorial side, that will consist of things such as player profiles and feature stories that dig deeper into their lore and their respective journeys. We envision a sport that will continue to build its own storied history over time, growing off the greats we’ve already seen and marketed in our game and the superstars who are still yet to come.

The Lone Wolf
Our logo, the Lone Wolf, reflects this platform’s ethos. 1 v. 1 is a sport where you have no teammates to bail you out if you can’t create your shot. You don’t get to hide on defense and guard the worst player on the court. It’s just you and your highly-skilled opponent. You both need to defend. You both need to score.
There’s no way out.
The rules of it are pretty simple. The game is contested to 30 and consists of two halves, with halftime being triggered after a participant hits the 15 point mark. It’s played on a half court using an international 3-point line and each athlete gets a timeout per half.
Fast and Furious Pace
If you’re not familiar with these games, momentum is everything. You have matchups like Lamar “LP” Peters vs. JT Terrell, which was essentially over before it started because of how blazing hot LP was that night in Raleigh. You also have matchups like Nasir Core vs. Unkle Skoob, where Nas erased multiple double-digit deficits to keep his historic winning streak in the space alive. The point is, you can never take your eyes off the screen for too long.

All In Las Vegas
Our first event under the One on One Championship umbrella is our highly-anticipated All In card at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on July 10, during the first weekend of NBA Summer League. It’s the most stacked 1 v. 1 card of all time and is headlined by arguably the biggest matchup we’ve ever put together, pitting Nasir Core and that 35-game streak against a former NBA player in Archie Goodwin.

Goodwin has developed a growing rivalry with Nasir after the pair’s ongoing social media banter, and Goodwin will be representing a serious contingent of current and former NBA players that think 1 v. 1 stars like Nasir are starting to bark just a little too loud.
Other matchups on the card include Zae vs. Bijan, LP vs. Latin “Lat” Davis, Uncle Skoob vs. Keyon Menifield, Rob Colon vs. Darius “DA” Adams and Tray Croft vs. Mike Harden. For those attending the event, doors open at 3:30 PST and special room rates are available at the Orleans Hotel and Casino.
