The Nike EYBL regular season is finally over and the Peach Jam is set. With four stops all throughout the country, the premier circuit’s final leg took part in Las Vegas earlier this month and the masses came. There were over 500 college, scouts from all 30 NBA teams, and countless NIL agents hovering the Las Vegas Convention Center watching the next generation of hoopers and it was impossible to have walked away disappointed.
With many teams fighing for their lives to make the Peach Jam, competition was at a higher level than you’d typically see for an early July game. The impact that NBA Summer League had on Sin City certainly had a trickle down effect on the EYBL, as countless franchise players were seen walking around the gym or coaching their respective AAU programs.
JJ Crawford, 6’3, PG/SG, Rotary Rebels 16U
Although JJ only played one game in Vegas after being the youngest player on the Team USA 17U club that won the FIBA World Cup, we cheated a bit here and wanted to mention him because for now he’s the player everyone in this class is chasing. It’s early in the process for this class, but ESPN’s top ranked player in the class of 2029 has displayed elite shot making ability this spring and summer and is a good player to start in the pole position of national rankings. He has a chance to maintain it with natural progression. Like his father, the younger Crawford is a three level scorer who can create separation with ease off of the dribble. He is methodical getting to his spots, has feathery touch when he gets into the lane, and has a bag of high finishes that he can convert over bigger defenders. Fresh off a state title at Ranier Beach, JJ Crawford is already carving out quite the legacy in his own right and earned our National Freshman of the Year honor.
Cayden Gaskins, 6’7, SF/PF, Jet Academy 16U
The younger brother of McDonald’s All-American Caleb Gaskins, Cayden is making his own name in the EYBL playing up at 16U as a potential five star prospect himself. Like his brother, Cayden possesses an incredibly mature frame that he is willing to use at both ends against older competition. Furthermore, he has the versatility to exploit mismatches as a combo forward and offers a rebounding presence no matter what position he’s slotted at. Playing for a loaded Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, he enters his sophomore campain as the favorite to win yet another state title in Florida.
London Jackson, 6’6, SF, AB Elite 15U
One of the more polished players that we saw in the class of 2029, London Jackson showed why many consider him to be Texas’ best in the class of 2029. The powerful lefty is a natural scorer who constantly produces, posted smaller defenders,and finished in the paint through contact. Ranked in the top 10 nationally by ESPN, Jackson will have a target on his back the rest of his career in the Lone Star State.

Ahmir Brown, 6’6, SG/SF, Team Final 15U
While Team Final didn’t make the Peach Jam, Ahmir Brown left it all on the floor in his squad’s final EYBL showing in Las Vegas. While the super long wing has a bit of an unorthodox jump shot, it went in at a high rate and made him near unstoppable when you consider how well he is able to create off the bounce in isolation situations. Already holding an offer from Rider, Ahmir will add more sooner rather than later at Philly power Nuemann Goretti.
E’Murion Jackson, 6’4, PG/SG, Brad Beal Elite 15U
A player I wasn’t familiar with coming into Vegas, my notebook quickly filled up with positives about E’Murion Jackson. The gritty combo guard was absolutely relentless, converted at the rim with either hand, and was an elite on ball defender. Already owning D1 offers and having won a state title, Jackson has the opportunity to carve out quite the legacy at East St. Louis High School.
Felix Okam, 6’9, PF/C, Houston Hoops 15U
While I haven’t seen every player in the class of 2029, I’ve yet to see a better rim protector than Felix Okam and he showed that yet again in Vegas. The freakishly long sophomore wasn’t just a rim protector, but he created a ton of deflections, kept possessions alive on the offensive glass, and slowed opposing players down with the amount of space that he was able to cover defensively. Okam is next in line out of an emerging Grand Prairie program and was been solidified as a top-25 prospect in the class.
Aaron Parker, 6’6, SF, Team United 16U
Playing on an absolutely stacked Team United squad, Aaron Parker showed his ability to impact the game alongside other players who will be playing at the high major level. The Raleigh product is a big time athlete who thrives in transition, can beat you off the bounce with straight line drives, and is learning how to use his tools on the defensive end. Already holding offers from Maryland and NC State, the top-25 prospect is bond for a stellar year at NC GBB Academy.
