International Talent Reigns Supreme at 2026 Pangos All West Frosh/Soph Camp

The 2026 Pangos All West Frosh/Soph Camp was a little bit different than most.  Pangos founder Dinos Trigonis always does an outstanding job of assembling high-level talent with positional size, but many of the vertically blessed high schoolers that we saw in Long Beach had roots outside the United States.

We already profiled Armenian swingman Anthony Sarkesian as well as sleeper big men Benard Kudah, Benjamin Davies, and Leo Morrow-Brown from the camp’s opening night. Overall camp MVP Kaleb Banfield, Cream of the Crop Top-30 MVP Harlem Graham, 7-foot-1 Turic Gol Chol, and talented 6-foot-4 power guard Brad Pitt were all examined from the camp’s final day of action.  However, there were still a number of other imports who shined and needed to be recognized for their play.

Here’s a deeper look at six more international prospects who left a lasting impression at the 2026 Pangos All West Frosh/Soph Camp:

Alijah Alexander, 6’7″, SF/PF, CIA Bella Vista (AZ), 2031

Considered by many as the best eighth grader in Canada, Alijah Alexander made the move south of the border to defending EYBL Scholastic champ CIA Bella Vista.  The super-strong forward thrived, played through contact against older competition, was automatic from mid-range, and initiated the break once he got it off the glass. Already owning an SEC offer from Ole Miss, Alexander has firmly supplanted himself as one to watch in 2031 playing at the varsity level, as seen by his 19.3 points per game average at the camp.

Benjamin Kudah, 6’10″, C, So Cal Academy, 2029

While he is not as refined offensively as his brother Benard, Benjamin Kudah is a serious prospect in his own right. The agile big was great running the floor, was a presence at the rim defensively, and gained confidence on offense as the event went on.  The product of Ghana definitely has all of the tools that you look for out of a developing big man.

William Boparai, 7’0″, C, CIA Bella Vista (AZ), 2030

One of the elite shot blockers that the event had to offer, William Boparai had all of the raw talent tools that you look for out of a big in today’s game. Despite his slender frame, he is a rim protector, a constant pick-and-pop threat, and understands how to set screens at angles. The Indian-Canadian prospect already showed how he can contribute with AZ Unity in the EYBL and is an interesting developmental prospect.

Cuneyt Demirozu, 6’7″, SF, Campbell Hall HS (Cal.), 2030

Perhaps the best shooter of the event, Cuneyt Demirozu was absolutely electric when he got hot. The freshman had an effortless release, got his shot off in a hurry, and had supreme confidence letting it fly off the bounce or from a catch. He was the lone Turkish prospect at the event and showed promise as a big shooter down the road.

AJ Jabateh, 6’6″, SF, CIA Bella Vista (Ariz.), 2029

An outstanding power wing, AJ Jabateh showed that he could get it done inside-and-out at Pangos All West.  The built lefty was near impossible to stop getting downhill to his strong hand, was a constant threat to dunk on you, and played through contact with his strength.  After having a solid summer with Arizona Unity in the EYBL, AJ seems to be carrying over that momentum to the high school season.

Daniel Mutombo, 6’5″, SF, CIA Bella Vista (Ariz.), 2030

Perhaps the most athletic player that Pangos had to offer, Daniel Mutombo has no shortage of dunk contest titles in his future. The freak athlete put on a show during pregame warmups, was a lob threat every time in transition (how he scored the bulk of his 21 points per game), and made himself known as an offensive rebounder. A native of Congo, he is said to be related to the late NBA All-Star Dikembe Mutombo and some similarities are clearly evident.
