Pangos is back in Miami. Founder Dinos Trigonis has been bringing elite level independent basketball to Miami for years now, but switched things up a bit for 2026. Typically running The Fantastic 40 grassroots tournament, Trigonis opted to go with an individual event to serve as a primer for the prestigious NBA certified Pangos All-American Camp in Vegas (May 31-June 2) and the talent followed.
Held at five time FHSAA state champion Miami Christian, the 2026 Pangos All American Preview East brought size, length, and a number of new names who will emerge nationally. The one day event brought four extremely competitive games along with a Cream of The Crop Top 20 game to culminate the event.
The event started and ended with the dominant play of 6-foot-11 Lewis Uvwo of FAB 50 power Prolific Prep (Southwest Ranches, Fla.). The camp MVP looked the part of a five star prospect and his level of production reflected that. However, Uvwo wasn’t the only one who stood out given the abundance of length and size that the event had to offer, not to mention good defensive energy.
Here’s an in depth look at the top overall performers from the 2026 Pangos All American Preview EAST:

Lewis Uvwo, 6’11, C, Prolific Prep (Fla.), 2027
The clear cut top player that the Pangos All American Preview had to offer, Lewis Uvwo showed why he is going to be a no brainer top-50 prospect and potential McDonald’s All American with his play in Miami. The long armed Nigerian big (7-foot-6 wingspan) changed the game on both ends with his athleticism, punished the rims as a finisher, and showed nice touch facing the basket. Already having experience playing for NBA Academy and in the African BAL, Uvwo’s high level of International experience has made the transition to prep ball in the States seamless.
David Watson, 6’5, SG/SF, Divine Savior Academy (Fla.), 2026
A player that I was unfamiliar with leading into the event, David Watson was arguably the most productive wing that the Pangos All-Americn Preview had to offers. The powerful Nicaraguan wing used his frame to finish through contact, scored with limited dribbles on straight line drives, and hit threes when left open. Still available as an unsigned senior, Watson picked up an offer from Mount St. Mary’s yesterday and should have more suitors as the summer goes on with the transfer portal drying up.
2026 @FCPPangos All-American Preview EAST Notes: 6-5 2027 Quincy Douby Jr. (Riviera Prep/Miami FL) is a talented swingman with good DNA (dad Quincy Sr. played at Rutgers/NBA). Top 100 caliber prospect scored team-high 22 pts in his 1st game here pic.twitter.com/ASauVcd9Fr

Quincy Douby Jr. 6’5, Riviera Prep (Flor.), 2027
The best natural scorer of the event, Quincy Douby Jr. filled it up more than anyone in Miami, culminating with his 25 point outing in the Cream of The Crop all-star game. The two guard got to his shot with limited dribbles, made a number of contested 3-pointers, and had no issues creating separation off the bounce. The son of former NBA first round pick Quincy Douby is a top 100 player in his own right, picking up offers from the likes of USC, Villanova, and Georgia Tech over the past month.
Anthony Walcott, 6’6, SG/SF, Pembroke Pines Charter (Fla.), 2027
A South Florida product who has been blowing up lately, Anthony Walcott showed his ability to create off the bounce as a bigger guard at the Pangos All American Preview. Walcott got to his mid-range jumper at will, made a number of athletic finishes at the rim, and facilitated for others once he got into the paint. College coaches have noticed is talent as well with Virginia Tech and UNLV offering the Ball By Design guard in the past week.
Drabo Moussa, 6’9, PF/C, Central Pointe Christian (Fla.), 2028
The top underclassmen at event, Drabo Moussa changed the game with his motor and length at the Pangos All-American Preview. The lanky big man is a dominant shot blocker, was great running the floor, and made the most of his scoring opportunities when he got the ball in the paint. Moussa is one of the better shot blockers playing up on the 17U level in the Under Armour Association and will see his recruitment take off during the live period.
