With the NCAA July live period upon us, it has been a logistical mess for D-I coaches to coordinate where to go. There are now five shoe circuits all running competing events (Nike, Puma, Adidas, Under Armour, and New Balance) at the same time, and colleges are only allowed to have four coaches in the gym at once, so someone gets left out. Rather than chasing all of the players you’d like to observe around to different gyms, New Balance made things a one-stop shop with its Elite 75.
The brainchild of P32 Director Josh Woodson and his staff, the Elite 75 brought together the 75 best prospects from the New Balance P32 League for a two-day event prior to AAU play during the live period. This allowed coaches and NBA scouts alike to get in and get a glimpse of the best that New Balance has to offer prior to jetting around the country to cross off their boxes. The high level of competition provided a different evaluation atmosphere that proved priceless when looking at P32 prospects.
Having already looked at the fab five prospects from the class of 2029 as well as the best juniors are some of the rising junior standouts from the 2028 class who excelled at the New Balance P32 Elite 75, we have moved on to the class of 2027. Players such as K’Majay Jenkins, Tristan Franklin, Gassim Toure, and Jaeden Udean were already covered in depth, so here’s a deeper look at some of the other top 2027’s we haven’t hit from the New Balance P32 Elite 75:

Sekhou Cisse, 6’9, PF/C, Gateway Knights 17U
There wasn’t a player more productive at the Elite 75 than Sekhou Cisse. The massive big man showed how he was able to impact the game both inside and out via both his wide frame and perimeter skill. Cisse showed that he’s a truly special passer from the high post, had the best footwork of anyone on the block, and used his shoulders to finish against bigger opponents. The bruising style of play and consistency that Cisse offers have made him a target recruit for countless college programs.
Jalen Brown, 6’4, SG, Midwest Renegades 17U
Heading to Wisconsin, Jalen Brown already established himself as a Top 100 player in the country and lived up to that billing at Elite 75. The Milwaukee product shot the ball well from deep, was great in transition as a finisher, and showed combo guard potential with his ability to facilitate for others. The versatility that Brown has with his ability to slide to either backcourt spot should allow him to see time for the Badgers right away.
Jahmai Drayton, 6’11, PF/C, DC Assault 17U
One of the higher ceiling seniors in the NB P32, Jahmai Drayton’s production is starting to mirror the immense talent that he has. The late bloomer was great applying his length to both ends of the floor, showed outstanding promise as a shooter from the perimeter, and has the fluidity to defend all over the floor. Playing for former Arizona assistant Book Richardson at The St James in the EYBL Scholastic, Jahmai will have all of the tools there to continue with his development.
Da’Cori Fleming, 6’4, SG, SKG Legacy 17U
A walking bucket, Da’Cori Fleming was a threat to put points on the board any time that he had the rock throughout the Elite 75. The bouncy two guard is a legit shooter with his feet set, is a constant threat in transition, and will make you pay with his explosive first step. The Augusta product already holds D-1 offers and should add more throughout the live period.
Kareem Aljaibat, 6’8, PF, Northern Kings 17U
A player that I wasn’t familiar with prior to the Elite 75, Kareem Aljaibat stood out from the tip with his motor and athleticism at the Elite 75. The new age forward changed the game with his energy, was a constant threat on the offensive glass, and was reliable shooting threes from the corners. Kareem has international experience playing for Jordan’s U19 team, which will undoubtedly help him transition to the collegiate level.
Kevin Pittman, 6’10, C, Yanders Law 17U
A player who is just scratching the surface of what he could become, but showed how scary he could be at Elite 75. The broad big man flourished finishing through contact at the rim, made a number of tough catches in the paint, and showed better conditioning than when I saw him in the spring. Hearing from high major programs, the Milwaukee native has helped himself as much as anyone in P32.
