On The Radar Hoops has been getting it done for a minute now. Founded in 2010 by former UAB football player Shun Williams, who has quickly taken the company to another level. It is undoubtedly the top independent event company in the Southeast Region because it is professionally ran and has countless former staffers who have moved on to significant jobs at the collegiate and professional levels. Most importantly, it has served as an exposure platform for the next wave of hoopers.
Enter the OTR Hoops Breakout Camp.
It was my third time attending the event, and I walked away with a fresh list of big time prospects that I would have never laid eyes on had I not made the journey to ATL. In fact, I saw current NBA All-Star Anthony Edwards at the 2016 camp before he even had a D1 offer. AE5 was still a member of the class of 2019 then, but reclassified to 2020 shortly after the camp. Ultimately, he went back to his original class of 2019 and the rest is history.

The 2019 camp was my first time laying eyes on future No. 2 NBA Draft pick Scoot Henderson back when some were still calling him Sterling, and it also was when I truly realized how special of a bucket getter fellow lottery pick/current Bulls point guard Rob Dillingham was.
The 2026 camp had five star sophomore Cadien Hudson, but we already knew about him. It was about the under the radar players and Williams brought no shortage of intriguing prospects from the Southeast to the Greater Atlanta area for an outstanding one day event.
Here are seven standouts who shined at the 2026 OTR Hoops Breakout Camp:
Cadien Hudson, 6’6, SF, Oak Cliff Faith Family (Tex.), 2029
In his last event as a Georgia player, Cadien Hudson stole the show at the OTR Breakout Camp. An uber athletic swingman with near track star speed, Hudson is impossible to stop when he is getting down hill, is a constant threat to dunk on you, and shoots the rock better than you’d think for a developing wing with that type of athleticism. The five star prospect told us that he models his game after Anthony Edwards in terms of his mentality and will be a part of a loaded Oak Cliff Faith Family squad in South Dallas this upcoming season.
Ja’Cori Thompson, 6’8, PF, Grayson HS (Ga.), 2029
The most skilled big man that the event had to offer was undoubtedly Ja’Cori Thompson, a matchup nightmare in the sophomore class. The long armed big punished smaller defenders on the block, but also exploited mismatches with his ability to shoot it from the perimeter and blow past slower defenders with his crafty first step. Already holding D-1 offers, Thompson is a part of Georgia’s absolutely stacked 2029 class.
Jeremiah Anderson, 6’4, PG/SG, Grayson HS (Ga.), 2029
The best combo guard that the event had to offer was undoubtedly Jeremiah Anderson, another piece of a loaded 2029 class at Grayson. The lanky guard was great changing the tempo of the game by pushing the rock up the floor, was a threat from the 3-point line, and had a number of creative takes at the rack. After running with the Atlanta Celtics in Adidas 3SSB, Anderson picked up the first of what will be many offers from Bethune-Cookman.
Elijah Ross, 5’10, PG, McEachern HS (Ga.), 2030
Showing poise far beyond his years, Elijah Ross made you forget that you were watching a player who was just entering high school at the Breakout Camp. The floor general played with great pace, showcased elite vision, and converted at the rack despite not being the biggest guy. Ross is continuing the McEachern/AOT pipeline and has the skills to develop into a really nice lead guard.
Shane Collins, 6’4, SG, Norcross HS (Ga.), 2030
A player who looks like he’s just scratching the surface of what he can become, Shane Collins was an incredibly intriguing guard with size at Breakout. The long scoring guard shot the ball well with his feet set, made plays with his athleticism on both ends, and utilized his size as a finisher in the paint. The AE5 freshman definitely has the physical profile to be one of the best big guards in Georgia’s 2030 class.
Duke Howell, 6’3, SG, Norcross HS (Ga.), 2029
Perhaps the best shooter the event had to offer, Duke Howell was a threat any time that he crossed half court. The flame thrower had great shot prep, was comfortable shooting the ball on the move, and really got into his shot quickly. Also showing promise off the bounce, there’s definitely talent there for Howell to develop into a combo guard with Norcross in high school and Game Elite on the circuit.
Deuce Grayson, 6’0, PG, Holy Innocents HS (Ga.), 2030
One of the shiftiest guards in the camp, Deuce Grayson was a highlight waiting to happen. The catalyst was incredibly creative with his handle, was super unselfish in a camp setting, and showed that he could make high level passes with either hand. The Atlanta Celtics freshman next up at Holy Innocents (Bulls lottery pick Caleb Wilson’s alma mater), where he will be a two sport star on the gridiron as well.
