Unrivaled 2027 Rosters: Gabby Williams Joins Laces BC, Olivia Miles Leads Hive BC

Gabby Williams scored 30 points in Game 7 of the WNBA Finals on Oct. 31, when the Golden State Valkyries beat the Atlanta Dream 68-63 in San Francisco for the franchise’s first championship. She was named Finals MVP that night, and four days later Unrivaled placed her on Laces BC for her first season in the 3-on-3 league.

Unrivaled announced its 2027 rosters Wednesday night during a live show on the Bleacher Report app and Bleacher Report’s YouTube channel. Olivia Miles, the unanimous 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year, headlines Hive BC.

All eight clubs from the second season return for the third, with six players on each roster. Half the league is going back to a club it played for in the first or second season, and more than 75% of its players are on multiyear deals, according to the league’s release. The 48 players include four 2026 WNBA champions and 30 Top 10 draft picks. They have combined for 80 WNBA All-Star selections. The championship prize pool is $600,000.

Jackie Young, Jessica Shepard, Marine Johannes, Maddy Siegrist, and Satou Sabally fill out the Laces roster around Williams. Laces coach Andrew Wade’s comments on the group came in Wednesday’s release.

“I’m excited and honored to lead the Laces in Year 3!” Wade said. “We have really dynamic guard play in Jackie, Gabby and Marine. Jess, Satou and Maddy provide great positional size and playmaking. I’m really looking forward to seeing this group gel and play a connected, competitive style of basketball.”

Olivia Miles Leads Hive BC

Miles received all 74 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters, the WNBA announced Sept. 28. The Minnesota Lynx took her second overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft out of TCU. During her first season, she set the WNBA’s rookie scoring record with 790 points.

Sonia Citron, Cameron Brink, Natisha Hiedeman, Rae Burrell, and Naz Hillmon round out the Hive roster. Hillmon played for Atlanta against Williams and the Valkyries in Game 7.

“I’m so excited to step into my first Unrivaled season and lead the Hive,” Hive coach Barb Turner said. “This group has the speed, the skill, and the competitive edge to play a style of basketball that’s fun to watch and tough to guard.”

“Having playmakers like Olivia Miles, with her vision and poise running the floor, and Sonia Citron, with her shot-making and two-way impact, gives us a great foundation, along with the scoring and versatility that is amongst this roster,” Turner continued. “But what I’m most looking forward to is building something together and getting this Hive buzzing in Miami.”

Paige Bueckers, Dominique Malonga Return to Breeze BC

Breeze BC kept Paige Bueckers and Dominique Malonga together for a second season and added Kahleah Copper, Kaitlyn Chen, DiJonai Carrington, and Monique Billings. Bueckers and Shepard play together for the Dallas Wings, and the two landed on different clubs.

Chen’s spot opened when Kate Martin and Unrivaled agreed to mutually terminate her Breeze contract, Just Women’s Sports reported. Chen, a Valkyries guard, signed a one-year deal.

“When I look at the 2027 Breeze, I see a group of competitors who play with passion and pride,” Breeze coach Jarell Christian said. “I love the versatility throughout our roster, which will allow us to play and win in a variety of ways. I’m excited to welcome Paige and Dom back for their second season with the Breeze. Their familiarity and chemistry will be extremely valuable to our success.”

“Adding a player of Kahleah’s caliber is special, but it’s her character, professionalism, and spirit that will help shape the culture we’re looking to build,” Christian continued. “When you look at successful teams, they’re filled with players who consistently make winning plays and are willing to do whatever the game requires.”

“Kaitlyn, DiJonai, and Mo embody that team-first mentality, and each brings something unique to the group,” Christian added. “We’re going to embrace the process of growing together, compete at a high level every night, and build a team that Breeze fans can continue to be proud of.”

Breanna Stewart and Mist BC Return After Season 2 Title

On March 4, Mist BC beat Phantom BC 80-74 in Miami to win the 2026 Unrivaled championship. Breanna Stewart, who co-founded the league with Napheesa Collier, scored 32 points and was named Championship Game MVP.

Stewart and Arike Ogunbowale are back with Mist for 2027. Veronica Burton, Bridget Carleton, Kiki Rice, and Isabelle Harrison complete the roster under coach Zach O’Brien. Harrison, who plays for the Toronto Tempo, also signed a one-year deal with the league, according to Just Women’s Sports.

Allisha Gray, who scored 12 points for Mist in the title game, moved to Vinyl BC.

Phantom BC Plays Without Aliyah Boston

Phantom BC, the top seed in the 2026 playoffs, will go without Aliyah Boston in 2027. The Indiana Fever center is recovering from knee surgery and will miss the season, Just Women’s Sports reported. Boston averaged 18.9 points and 9.7 rebounds for Phantom last season before the league ruled her out of the playoffs on March 1 with a right lower extremity injury, according to The Associated Press.

Kelsey Plum, Natasha Cloud, and Tiffany Hayes are joined by Kayla McBride, Li Yueru, and Aaliyah Edwards. McBride returns to Unrivaled after sitting out the second season.

“I’m looking forward to starting the new season with Phantom,” Phantom coach Roneeka Hodges said. “I’m really excited to continue building off of last season with our core! I welcome the professionalism, skill and energy KMac, Li and Aaliyah will add to the Ghost Gang! We will defend, play physical, fast, compete at a high level, and have fun doing it!”

Lunar Owls, Rose, and Vinyl Complete Unrivaled 2027 Rosters

Collier is on Lunar Owls BC with Courtney Williams, Marina Mabrey, Skylar Diggins, Sydney Taylor, and Temi Fagbenle. Pokey Chatman coaches the club.

“One of the things that excites me about Unrivaled is the freedom the format gives great players to be themselves,” Chatman said. “Our Lunar Owls group brings an elite skill set, high basketball IQ, a championship mindset and no shortage of personality.”

“They know the rhythm of this league, and having their experience alongside me is a great way to step into my first season,” Chatman continued. “I want us to play with a clear sense of who we are, bring out the best in each other and have fun doing it.”

Rose BC, which beat Vinyl in the inaugural championship game in 2025, has Chelsea Gray, Brittney Sykes, Shakira Austin, Aziaha James, Lexie Hull, and Kayla Thornton under coach Nola Henry.

Teresa Weatherspoon is back for her third season with Vinyl BC. Atlanta Dream guards Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, and Jordin Canada join Dearica Hamby, Flau’jae Johnson, and Aneesah Morrow. Johnson, a Seattle Storm guard drafted eighth overall in 2026, signed a multiyear contract with Unrivaled on June 22.

Kelsey Mitchell and Alanna Smith, who both played in Unrivaled’s second season, were named to the inaugural roster of the 5-on-5 league Project B, Front Office Sports reported in June. Azzi Fudd signed with Project B despite an NIL deal with Unrivaled, according to the same report.

Unrivaled will reveal the matchups for each of its previously announced game dates on Friday, Nov. 6. The third season tips off Jan. 8.
