The inaugural New Balance P32 Elite 75 Camp in St. Louis (Mo.) assembled the top talent from across the P32 circuit. Here are the prospects that stood out most after a full day of evaluation.
Jalen Brown
Wisconsin Badger pledge Jalen Brown was the most impressive player in attendance. Brown showcased a polished, complete offensive game built around elite shot-making and outstanding decision-making. He consistently created quality looks from all three levels while remaining under control and never forcing the action. What stood out most was his feel for the game, as he repeatedly made the correct basketball play whether it was taking advantage of scoring opportunities or creating for teammates.

Kevin Pittman Was A Man Amongst Boys
An intriguing front court prospect in the 2027 class that was originally in 2026, Kevin Pittman is a long-armed, physically strong big man that effortlessly got off the ground and finished above the rim with either hand in traffic. He can challenge shots at its peak and had some moments where he ran the floor hard and completed plays. His physical tools plus motor (in a camp setting) stood out. Has an unofficial visit with Oklahoma State coming this fall and would expect more high majors to start recruiting him.
Staying On The Topic of Bigs
Speaking of intriguing, 6’11 big man Jahmai Drayton is a developmental 2027 prospect to keep tabs of. While still refining his overall game and needing to add muscle, his physical tools and upside are evident. Drayton consistently challenged shots around the rim, using his length and timing to alter attempts while providing interior defensive presence. Offensively, he flashed encouraging shooting touch that hints at his long-term versatility as a frontcourt player. He made three or two and when he shot a free throw, it looked good. It will be interesting to see how he develops over the next year.
Jaylen Mason Was Best 2029 Performer Wednesday
Jaylen Mason was one of the youngest standouts at the event. He showcased an advanced ability to change speeds and keep defenders off balance. Rather than relying solely on quickness, Mason manipulated defenders with pace, creating driving lanes and quality scoring opportunities throughout the game. His confidence as a scorer immediately stood out. He’ll need to make quicker decisions with the basketball but he’ll have time to clean that up. We liked his confidence and ability to generate his own look.
Spent today at the inaugural @p32league Elite 75 Camp and really liked the concept. It was a great opportunity to evaluate many of the league’s top prospects in one setting.
