LAS VEGAS – Are you ready to go All In?
It’s finally time for the most significant 1v1 pay-per-view event in the history of the sport, presented by Ballislife, live from The Orleans Arena located just off the Las Vegas Strip. The once-in-a-lifetime card is headlined by arguably the most anticipated matchup of all-time between the space’s biggest name, Nasir Core, and a current professional star in Archie Goodwin.
The co-main event pits stalwart Rob “Thanos” Colon against another former pro, Darius “DA” Adams, in what should be a heated rematch after DA beat Rob 31-28 at a TNC event this past December. Uncle Skoob, a legendary name in the space, is set to take on a rising collegiate star in Keyon Menifield, while Zae and Bijan are set to square off in a potential Matchup of the Year that could go a long way in determining the future of the sport. Not to mention, Latin “Lat” Davis and longtime overseas star Jerome Randle will face off in a matchup that has all the makings of a potential instant classic. The opening match, available for free on Ballislife’s YouTube channel, features Tray Croft vs. Mike Harden.
Speaking of the future of the sport, Ballislife’s All In pay-per-view is also significant in that regard, as it marks our first event under the new One on One Championship umbrella. The One on One Championship was officially unveiled last month with the intention of centralizing the sport with a legitimate championship structure with weight classes, ranking systems, in-depth storylines and more. Regardless of what happens on the court, today is the dawn of a new era in the 1v1 space.
Nasir Core def. Archie Goodwin 30-24
The streak is alive.
I repeat.
THE STREAK IS ALIVE.
Nasir Core retained his crown as the undisputed king of the 1v1 space, beating seasoned pro Archie Goodwin for a 37th consecutive victory in a come-from-behind effort. In the first half, Archie’s bag was on full display and it honestly looked like he had the skillset and gas tank necessary to win the game. After giving up the first bucket, Archie outscored Nas 17-7 for the remainder of the half and brought a decisive 17-9 advantage to the break.
However, as he always does, Nas made the necessary adjustments at halftime. He stopped settling for the 3-pointer as much as he did in the first half and stopped letting Archie breeze by him so easily as well, instead opting to go to his usual bread and butter of attacking the rim and playing relentless defense down the stretch.
Trailing 21-16, Nas broke off a 7-0 run to take a 23-21 lead and didn’t look back from that point. The pound-for-pound rankings will remain unchanged. The king still has his crown, and he kept in the most impressive fashion we’ve seen from him yet.

Rob Colon def. Darius “DA” Adams 30-29
Did we almost just see the most unbelievable comeback ever? Maybe. But almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, not against Rob Colon. Darius “DA” Adams learned that the hard way at All In.
We knew Rob was entering this rematch with a significant chip on his shoulder, especially considering the fact that DA handed Rob his only loss within the last year and a half. Once Rob opened up a 9-1 lead to start and eventually stretched it lead to 15-2 at halftime, it looked like revenge was going to be a dish served in blowout fashion
However, DA had other ideas. He put together a second-half rally for the ages and forced Rob’s back against the wall for the second time in 7 months. With former NBA superstar Lance Stephenson in his corner, DA scored 27 of his 29 points in the second with an array of impressive 3-point and mid-range shot-making. He even took a 29-25 lead and had multiple opportunities to end the game before Rob locked back in and scored five straight, including the winning free-throw, to come out on top in another instant classic bout.
Uncle Skoob def Keyon Menifield 31-28
If you ever needed definitive proof that Uncle Skoob is one of the quintessential players in the history of 1v1 hoops, look no further than his performance against Keyon Menifield tonight. Menifield entered this matchup unbeaten in the space and with all the momentum in the world, but it was Skoob’s 1v1 experience and IQ that allowed him to thwart Keyon’s comeback attempt and emerge from The Orleans with the victory.
Skoob initially looked like he was going to run Keyon, who is a decade younger, out of the gym. The legend was getting to the basket with ease and connecting from outside as well, allowing him to start the game on a 13-2 run before eventually taking a 15-6 lead into halftime. Skoob then began the second half on a 7-2 run to stretch his already decisive lead to 22-8, putting Keyon’s back firmly against the ropes. However, Keyon still had fresh legs at this point and took advantage of them by going on a 15-2 run of his own to fight his way back within a point at 24-23.
Despite the fact that the momentum had left Skoob’s corner and was fully in Keyon’s at this point, Skoob wasn’t phased. Not one bit, actually. He put together a game-ending 8-0 run to win the game, punctuated by a deep 3-pointer that secured an unprecedented 63rd official win in the 1v1 space.
Jerome Randle def. Latin “Lat” Davis 30-28
We just got an INSTANT CLASSIC.
Down 28-27, Jerome Randle completed a double comeback for the ages with a game-ending stepback triple to take home the 30-27 victory over Latin Davis in what was, frankly, one of the best 1v1 bouts we’ve ever seen on a Ballislife stage.
They say basketball is a game of runs, and 1v1 is especially. That adage couldn’t have proved more true in this thriller. Rome struck first with a crafty drive to the tin, but Latin promptly broke off a 12-0 run to take a double-digit lead at 12-2. However, right when it looked like Latin had Rome against the ropes, Rome made a timely stop and went on an immediate 13-2 run of his own to take a 15-14 lead into the halftime.
Not to be outdone, Latin started the second half red-hot from beyond the arc and broke off a 11-2 run to take a 25-17 lead. Once again, it looked like Rome was on the ropes. And once again, Rome had an answer. This time it came in the form of another 10-0 run, which put him up 27-25 and in position to steal the win. Latin hit another 3-pointer to take a 28-27, but what Rome did after that to wrap this one up is history. What a battle.
Zae def. Bijan 30-20
Statement. Made.
Trailing 20-17 in a game that looked like it was approaching instant classic territory, Zae ripped off an incredible 13-0 run to defeat Bijan in what was ultimately controlling fashion. The pair traded baskets early on in the bout before Zae initially broke off a 13-7 lead, but Bijan roared back with a 10-4 run to take a 16-14 lead into halftime.
It took Zae a little bit to find his rhythm and his jumpshot, but once he did, he looked exactly like the kind of player who belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of 1v1 hoops like we thought he did. Bijan had success driving and finishing at the basket in the first half, but his deep ball was a little less consistent than we’re used to seeing and Zae locked in defensively in the second half which made it a bit harder for him to get what he wanted inside.
This matchup had Game of the Year potential and at times it looked like it was going to get to that point, especially with the emotion that was brewing on each sideline, but Zae did what Zae does and turned into another major statement of his Presidential campaign. Next on his list? None other than Nasir Core.
“Hey Nasir,” Zae said. “Let’s talk money”
Mike Harden def. Tray Croft 30-13
It didn’t take long for the essence of 1v1 to rear its head at Ballislife All In. In the first matchup of the night, Mike Harden smoked Tray Croft in a chippy matchup that got legitimately heated. After leaning into his size advantage to bring a 15-8 lead into halftime, Harden opened the second half on a 12-2 run to stretch his lead to 27-10 and put Croft on the ropes before he ever truly had a chance.
In total, Harden made 11-of-22 attempts from the field in the win and 6-of-13 from 3-point range, while Croft went just 6-of-18 overall and 0-of-6 from beyond the arc.
Not only did Harden dominate in a near wire-to-wire effort, he wasn’t quiet about it either. He was clearly upset with how Croft’s team was trying to officiate the game from the sidelines and he let them and everyone else in the gym hear it when he went on his run. In more explicit terms, something along the lines of “I’m better than all of these guys” may or may not have been said.
