Trump’s ‘Slimy’ Compliment to a Woman Has Critics Cringing as He Ignores the Warning He Keeps Complaining About

President Donald Trump can’t help himself when a good-looking woman walks in the room.

The 80-year-old may glance or single the woman out, even as he repeatedly acknowledges that doing so could get him in trouble.

Some would say he fails in the chivalry department, but that didn’t stop him from making one woman in the crowd feel like the center of attention.

From the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape to his repeated insults toward female reporters, Trump has cultivated a misogynistic reputation that has cast a shadow over his personal and political brand.

He appears aware that critics take issue with some of his remarks about women. But that never matters to a man like him.

A clip from the president’s visit to Clarksville, Tennessee, for an election rally on Oct. 10 shows Trump singling out a response from a specific attendee.

About 35 minutes into his speech, a woman from the crowd yelled, “I love you!”

Trump paused to acknowledge the unknown fan, praised her appearance, and called her an affectionate term of endearment.

“I love you, too, darling. Let me see what you look like. Oh, she’s a beautiful person. Thank you,” Trump replied. “You’re not allowed to say a woman is beautiful.”

He completely ignored his past warning as he continued, “ A woman’s beautiful over there. She just said, ‘I love you.’ I say, ‘Thank you.’ When you call her beautiful, that’s the end of your political career.”

“In politics they say, ‘Please never call a woman beautiful.’ But I’m sorry. I guess I’m from the old school. You are beautiful. Thank you for the nice compliment,” Trump added.

With a huge smile, the POTUS soaked up the applause his tangent drew from the crowd.

He then returned to his scripted remarks, focusing on immigration and crime.

Trump’s claim that complimenting women’s appearance could lead to cultural cancellation contrasts with his own political success. His past controversial remarks did not keep millions of Americans from voting for him twice.

Many of his die-hard supporters have remained loyal to the increasingly unpopular president, despite his tendency to make vulgar remarks about women.

However, his critics remain committed to calling out the billionaire politician.

“He’s so slimy,” an X user posted about Trump after a clip from the Clarksville event. Another person exclaimed, “Creepy old man!”

Similarly, someone declared, “He’s such a disgusting creep.” One commenter wrote, “Cringy AF.” Yet another account stated, “He’s a disgusting human.”

“Trump does things every day that should end his political career – Republicans who are drunk on power don’t care,” read a critical post.

Natalie Harp, the president’s close executive assistant, received an uncomplimentary shout-out when an X user suggested, “Natalie’s gonna get jealous.”

The White House staffer is regularly photographed shadowing the president during trips. But since reports revealed that she had written intimate notes to Trump, referring to him as her “guardian and protector in this life,” their closeness is not without scrutiny.

Harp, 35, earned the derogatory nickname “The Human Binky” for her overly devoted commitment to serving Trump.

The former OANN anchor is also known as “The Human Printer” because she reportedly carries a portable printer to share positive online content about Trump with her boss.

While Harp has largely stayed behind the scenes, occasionally popping up in viral photos, Trump recently put the spotlight on the deeply religious California native at another campaign rally.

Natalie was invited on stage at Trump’s previous rally in Grand Island, Nebraska, on Oct. 5.

She smiled and brought an initiative on stage for Trump to sign. Yet, he seemed more concerned with telling the crowd how perfect she was and glancing at her legs when she turned to walk away.

Those actions led viewers to question the whereabouts of First Lady Melania Trump, who has often disappeared from the public eye throughout the second Trump administration.

Trump’s insistence that political correctness prevents him from discussing women’s beauty has been part of the political conversation since his first term in office.

In November 2018, the businessman complained that he couldn’t call his own adult daughter, Ivanka Trump, “beautiful” during a Cleveland rally ahead of that year’s midterm elections.

Fast forward to August 2026, and Trump was still griping about supposedly being barred from admiring a woman’s attractiveness.

The commander in chief even made it a point of contention at a Women’s History Month celebration at the White House.

Even former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had warned him not to comment on the reporter’s looks.

“She did say that I shouldn’t say this because it’s politically incorrect,” Trump told a crowd during a briefing. “She said, ‘She’s beautiful.’ And you are beautiful!”

Still, Trump says whatever is on his mind, regardless of who in the room wants to hear it.
