Spring Live Period: Potential 2027 Texas Stock Risers!

We are about a week away from the NCAA’s Spring Live Period (May 15-17), and our staff put together a list of 13 rising seniors (2027) from the Lone Star State that could have a big weekend in front of college coaches and see their stock rise.

Damon Miles, 6’2 PG – Miles Select (Pro16)
Efficient guard who consistently gets to his spots and produces offense at a high level. He plays with strong pace control, understanding when to attack and when to slow the game down. Miles creates separation with tight handle and subtle footwork, allowing him to operate comfortably in the mid-range and finish through traffic. He shows confidence as a shot maker, capable of knocking down pull-ups and catch-and-shoot looks. His ability to read defenders and take what’s available makes him a reliable scoring option.

Marwane Fadika, 6’4 CG – The Mile Academy (NXT Pro)
A smooth 6’4 guard who plays with impressive pace and control. He consistently changes speeds to keep defenders off balance, operating comfortably in tight spaces and getting to his spots with purpose. Fadika is a confident shot creator who scores effectively off the bounce, showing touch and balance at all three levels. What stands out most is his ability to play at his own tempo, never rushed, and always composed with the ball. He understands angles and uses his size well in the lane. As Fadika continues to add strength and expand his playmaking, his upside continues to rise.

Tim White, 6’10 C – Top Achievers (G1 GASO)
A physically imposing 6’10 center who brings strength, toughness, and production to the paint. He powers through contact with ease, carving out space and finishing with authority around the rim. White embraces physicality on both ends, setting hard screens, rebounding at a high level, and anchoring the interior defensively. His presence alone alters how teams attack. With the growing value of true interior bigs at the college level, he’s a must-watch for Division I programs. Continued development of his body, conditioning, and mobility will elevate his impact and help him handle extended minutes at a high level.

Abdul Olajuwon, 6’4 SG – JL3 (EYBL)
Abdul is an emerging perimeter threat who made a strong statement during the first EYBL session in Atlanta, knocking down 42 percent from three, along with averaging 6 rebounds per game. He spaces the floor effectively and shows confidence as a catch-and-shoot weapon, with a smooth, repeatable release. Olajuwon understands shot selection, consistently finding clean looks within the flow of the offense. His ability to stretch defenses adds real value and opens driving lanes for teammates. Heading into the live period, he’ll look to maintain that same level of shot-making consistency.

Dylan Jones-Bynum, 6’1 PG – JL3 (EYBL)
Twitchy guard who impacts winning on both ends. He’s a difficult one-on-one cover, using balance, craft, and pacing to create advantages. Averaging 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists during the last EYBL session, Jones-Bynum showed his ability to produce across the board. Jones-Bynum plays with a high IQ, makes the right reads, and keeps the offense organized. He consistently raises the floor of any team he’s on, making him a valuable piece for programs seeking stability.

Jonathan Bradley, 6’2 CG – ASAK (3SSB)
Dynamic driving guard and one of the best finishers in the state of Texas. He consistently puts pressure on the rim, attacking gaps with purpose and converting through traffic with touch, creativity, and body control. Bradley plays downhill with confidence, showing a deep finishing package that makes him a constant threat inside the arc. He competes, embraces contact, and finds ways to produce even against size. As he continues to develop a more consistent jumper and make quicker reads, I believe he has the tools to be an impactful Division I guard by year two at the latest.

Josiah Jones, 6’1 PG – ASAK (3SSB)
Bradley’s backcourt mate, Josiah orchestrated a statement performance with a 40-point outing during the first Adidas Session in California, showcasing his ability to take over stretches offensively. He’s an effective self-creator who plays with an ample amount of craft, using change of pace, footwork, and touch to generate quality looks. Jones is comfortable operating with the ball in his hands, navigating defenders and finding scoring windows at multiple levels.

Jae Lincoln, 6’6 SF – Apex (Pro16)
Jack-of-all-trades wing who impacts the game in a variety of ways. He plays off two feet with strong balance and control, allowing him to finish through traffic and make sound decisions in the lane. His versatility shows up across the board. He rebounds well for his position, defends multiple spots, and contributes without needing high usage. Lincoln continues to show noticeable progression in his offensive arsenal, adding more confidence as a scorer and expanding his shot-making ability. He understands how to play within a team concept, and as his skill set keeps evolving, his value and long-term upside continue to rise.

Carter Savoy, 6’4 SG – Apex (Pro16)
Savoy is 6’4 off guard who thrives as a big-time shooting threat, particularly off the catch. During the 6A playoffs for Atascocita, he delivered a standout performance in a win over North Shore, knocking down six threes and providing a major spark. Savoy spaces the floor at a high level, showing quick preparation, a clean release, and confidence in big moments. He understands how to move without the ball and consistently finds open windows. Beyond his shooting, he plays hard on both ends, competes defensively, and brings energy every possession. His reliability as a spot-up option makes him a valuable piece in any system, and his role-ready skill set translates well to the next level.

Marri Wesley, 6’5 SF – AB Elite (EYBL)
Wesley had a dominant showing in the first EYBL session, averaging 21 points and 12 rebounds while leading his team in both categories. A powerfully built wing, he thrives on physicality, consistently initiating contact and finishing through defenders with strength and balance. Wesley plays bigger than his listed height, attacking the glass with purpose and impacting possessions on both ends. He brings a relentless motor and competes every trip, making him a tough matchup. His ability to produce inside and impose his will stands out, and as he continues to expand his perimeter skill set, his overall impact and recruitment stock will continue to rise.

Drew Guy, 6’5 Guard – Texas Impact (UAA)
A 6’5 ball-in-hand guard who brings a well-rounded, physical presence to the perimeter. He has adequate vertical pop and uses his athleticism effectively when attacking the lane and finishing above or through defenders. Guy shows solid feel as a passer, making the right reads and keeping the offense flowing. He rebounds his position well, adding extra possessions and pushing in transition. A tough cover, he combines strength, a tight handle, and improved scoring chops to create advantages. As his consistency as a perimeter shooter continues to develop, his ability to impact the game at multiple levels will only grow. A top 100 level player nationally.

Amarion Hunter, 6’2 CG – Dallas Mustangs (Recruit Look)
A natural scorer who thrives on putting the ball in the basket at all three levels. He has a knack for making tough, contested shots, showing confidence and rhythm regardless of coverage. Hunter needs minimal space to get his shot off, with a quick release and the ability to rise over defenders or create just enough separation with subtle moves. He plays with a scorer’s mentality, staying aggressive and looking to generate offense consistently.

Dylan Franklin, 6’3 CG – Lonestar Elite (Independent)
A compact, powerfully built guard who thrives as a natural scorer. He plays with physicality, routinely bouncing defenders off him to create space and get to his spots. Franklin is comfortable rising up and connecting, whether it’s off the bounce or in tight windows, showing confidence in his shot-making ability. His aggressive mindset keeps pressure on defenses and forces adjustments while also showing extended range on his jumper.
