LAS VEGAS – On a card with so many matchups at All In that could be pivotal for the future of the 1 v. 1 space, you can almost guarantee that the Game of the Night is going to be an instant classic type of matchup that we remember for years to come.
The co-main event, Zae vs. Bijan, is a serious contender to be the matchup that steals the show on Friday night. If there was an MVP award for 1 v. 1 this year, those two would be No. 1 and No. 2 on the candidates list. And regardless of how it goes down, the result of their bout will have seismic implications on the sport’s future.

Tale Of The Tape: Zae
Zae is one of the most accomplished and respected players in the space, having earned a handful of wins over the course of the last year, including statement performances against Dre, Lamar Peters, and Left Hand Dom. In fact, it’s been nearly a calendar year since we’ve seen Zae lose and some would even argue that he deserves the title as the best pound-for-pound player in the world over Nasir Core after his recent string of dominance.
As the 1 v. 1 space has continued to rapidly grow, it’s getting harder and harder to argue against Zae’s spot on 1 v.1’s current Mt. Rushmore. He’s arguably the most consistent player in the sport, showing up for event after event and leaving with a win before it looks like he even breaks a sweat. His calm, collected demeanor has made him a fan favorite, and one of the few players currently in the sport that has the potential to reach true stardom.
“I’m just so blessed”, Zae said. “Being one of the first players to start when YouTube basketball even became a thing, and now being a part of something so big and just knowing where it could go, it’s just a great feeling, man. To be a part of the growth and to be a player that somebody in this world can look up to in general, it’s a beautiful thing to see.”

Tale Of The Tape: Bijan
While Zae has been a mainstay in the space for quite some time, Bijan’s rise to the top has been a bit more rapid. After transitioning from the professional 5 v. 5 game to 1 v. 1 at the end of last year, Bijan first put the space on notice by giving the legendary Uncle Skoob an incredibly valiant challenge in his debut at Battlegrounds Szn 2 in December. One of the common sentiments in the chat that day was that Bijan would be a problem if he conditioned specifically for 1 v. 1 and got in proper shape, and it’s safe to say that was entirely the truth.
Since that debut, Bijan has been a force. He hasn’t lost in 1 v.1 since and is undefeated in 2026, with wins over names such as Reese McDonald and Fomby. While many former pros have scoffed at the 1 v. 1 space, Bijan has taken pride in his standing as one of the sport’s best and envisions himself being a part of its potentially historic future.
“Just being able to see it up close and being a part of it has been awesome,” Bijan said. “I started off in Houston, and the next one was in Cali, and then we went to Toronto. Toronto was just insane, man. Then we went to North Carolina, and now we’re doing Vegas. It just looks like it’ll just keep on growing, it’s not really going to stop anytime soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is an Olympic sport in the next 40 years.”
Does Bijan Have The Answer For Zae?
Zae is without question the toughest test Bijan will face during his run so far, but he becomes an instant contender for the inaugural One on One Championship belt if he wins. Bijan knows what he has to do to get the win, now all that’s left to do is to execute his gameplan on Friday.
“In order to beat Zay, it’ll probably come down to conditioning and defense for me,” Bijan said. “Just being able to absorb his bump and being able to make him change directions before he touches the paint, that’ll pretty much secure me a win.”
Do you think Zae continues to prove his case as being potentially the best 1 v. 1 player on the planet? Or will Bijan continue his unprecedented rise and steal a championship before some of the sport’s biggest names? If you feel particularly confident in either side, the matchup is available for wagering on Kalshi along with the rest of the Ballislife All In card.
