Strictly BBall 3×3 Nationals 2026: Stock Risers

Strictly BBall is here to stay in the new-age basketball media scene. Curating a TikTok account that has over 2.8 million followers, founders Joe Doerrer and Nolan Newberg have mastered the art of basketball storytelling in short-form. With an Instagram that has over 620k followers, their narrated videos allow viewers to get a grasp of players beyond the games themselves.

The duo has rapidly expanded over the past half-decade, partnering with the NBA amid countless other national brands that are household names. They sponsor a team in the Twin Cities Pro-Am and for the third consecutive year have brought some of the nation’s top talent to Minneapolis for the Strictly BBall 3×3 Nationals.

Sponsored by VKTRY insoles, the 2026 3×3 Nationals were held at Minnehaha Academy, the former home of Chet Holmgren and Jalen Suggs. Strictly flew in top talent from Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, and a select team from all over the country along with Minnesota’s best. Ultimately, it was Wisconsin that took home the crown, but that wasn’t without considerable intrigue among the 20+ DI prospects who were playing for keeps at the event.

We already looked at Baboucarr Ann, Max Jones, Kyle Amadi, Darius Wabbington, Isaak Hayes, and Deuce McDuffie in our top performers piece.  Here is a deeper dive into some of the under-the-radar players from the 2026 Strictly BBall 3×3 Nationals:

Jagmeet Singh, 7’4″, C, Team Select, 2027

A social media sensation, Jagmeet Singh proved that he is more than just a viral hooper at Strictly.  At every bit of 7-foot-4, Singh displayed consistent range out to the 3-point line, showed surprising agility on both ends, and is learning to wall up on the defensive end. Heading to Victory Rock Prep (Fla.) to play for Loren Jackson (who coached Anthony Davis in AAU), Singh is in the perfect spot for a developmental big man.

Jimmie “Tripp” Haywood, 6’4″, PG/SG, Team Arizona, 2027

The overall leading scorer in the event, Tripp Haywood proved that he could get it done on or off the ball at the Strictly Nationals. A product of Seattle, Haywood has a unique ability to convert in the paint in a variety of ways, is deadly in isolation situations, and is a scoring threat without the ball.  The consensus four-star recruit will be the catalyst for an AZ Compass Prep team that will be one of the very best in the EYBL Scholastic League.

Xander Pruzinsky, 6’8″, PF, Team Texas, 2027

A priority recruit for Oral Roberts, Xander Pruzinsky brought his high level of productivity to Minneapolis at Strictly. The no-nonsense big showed his ability to shoot it from the perimeter, is a great cutter, and is willing to finish through contact.  Playing for a stacked AB Elite squad, Xander has the ability to adapt in multiple situations and has the potential to transfer up down the line.

Ichima Idoko, 6’8″, SF, Team Minnesota, 2028

The highest upside junior in the state of Minnesota, Ichima Idoko displayed the raw talent that has people tantalized in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. The lefty showed off his smooth stroke from the perimeter, can finish through contact despite his slender frame, and will make you pay with his straight-line drives.  Already owning high-major offers, Idoko is just scratching the surface of the big-time prospect that he can become.

KJ Wilson, 6’2″, PG, Team Minnesota, 2028

While Idoko may have the highest upside of anyone in Minnesota’s 2028 class, KJ Wilson is undoubtedly its most productive player.  The polished lead guard is exceptionally crafty, makes great reads out of ball screens, and will truly make you pay with his deep 3-point range.  Having finished second in Adidas 3SSB 16U in scoring with D1 Minnesota, Wilson has firmly established himself as one of the best scoring lead guards nationally for the class of 2028.

Luke Howery, 6’5″, SG, Team Colorado, 2027

A player who I hadn’t seen going into the event, I walked away with a paragraph of notes on Luke Howery. The lefty swingman is a super-confident shooter who can create separation, plays the game at his own pace, and is a constant threat to dunk on you.  Heading to Colorado State, Howery has the game to develop into a really nice player in the Mountain West.
