President Donald Trump‘s recent trip to Dallas got off to a rocky start, with enough cameras on hand to catch every awkward moment.
Between frequent delays, unexpected prep and seemingly endless aircraft drama, Trump’s travel plans have provided plenty of material for scrutiny.
After seemingly admitting something people had long suspected, his latest switch-up gave the internet plenty to chew on.
Trump touched down at Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday, Sept. 9, expecting a routine switch from one presidential aircraft to another.
Instead, he sat in Marine One for nearly 20 minutes as ground crews scrambled to remove an emergency slide from his Qatari-gifted Air Force One.
The slide was removed while Trump’s older aircraft waited nearby. He called it a safety check, but a source told Reuters military personnel accidentally triggered it.
But when he finally stepped onto the tarmac, reporters got a front-row view of more than just the aviation nightmare.
Bright sunlight, strong wind, and unforgiving camera angles exposed the thinning sections beneath his famous blond comb-over.
Trump’s hair, which usually travels across his scalp with toupe-ish military precision, appeared to be losing formation.
Several side-profile photos of the POTUS suggest he should spend more time putting himself together before stepping out.
Or, in his case, covering up the inevitable.
“It’s time to let it go, Mr President. Get a nice head razor. Maybe grow out some stubble. You can’t continue on like this,” he wrote.
A second commenter advised, “He could buzz what’s left of the top, puff the sides out, dye them red and become a Bozo. That would be cool – POTUS becomes Bozo the clown!”
Trump faced the cameras as the sunlight highlighted his wispy strands and visible scalp in a separate snapshot, with many requesting: “Bring back the wig.”
“Wait. Wasn’t [his] hair brown just the other day?” one person questioned.
The criticism kept coming as some people wondered about his blond hair color.
“Trump has a “patch kit” that travels with him everywhere he goes,” someone suspects. “It consists of small tufts of hair, of various colours so he can pick and choose based on his hair color of the day, and some glue. He mostly does the patch work himself.”
A separate image captured a gust lifting Trump’s hair away from the front of his scalp as he walked beside an Air Force officer.

“The hair is letting him go,” one viewer wrote.
The latest blowout arrived after weeks of online scrutiny surrounding Trump’s changing hair.
When summer nighttime winds parted his comb-over in early August to expose a large section of scalp, the incident dominated headlines.
The flurry of coverage was apparently enough for Trump’s beauty team to take action.
Days later, he appeared in Las Vegas with more golden, thicker, and fuller hair.
His next look was a sweeping side part debut during an Aug. 24 Rose Garden event. Critics compared the cross-forehead arrangement to storm-tracking maps.
The comments clearly got under his skin. He wasted no time firing back.
On Sept. 2, Trump revived the decade-old rumor that his signature hairstyle isn’t all his.
The 80-year-old pointed to footage from a blustery Ohio campaign rally for Sen. Bernie Moreno. He argued the wind proved his hair was 100% real.
“For years, I had to suffer with people saying, ‘He wears a wig.’ I don’t wear a wig,” Trump told the crowd.
“But that night they found out I did not wear a wig because if you did, it was not going to be on your head very long. That was the worst [weather] I’ve ever seen,” he added.
It’s not the first time the former reality star has gone out of his way to prove it.
Back in 2015, he brought a woman onstage to run her fingers through it. A year later, Jimmy Fallon got his own hands-on moment, messing it up on “The Tonight Show.”
Trump may insist the hair is homegrown, but the cameras keep turning routine departures into high-stakes follicular investigations.
