Honoring a local legend in Southern California, Pangos founder Dinos Trigonis got many of Southern California’s best all under one roof for the Ron Massey Memorial Fall Classic. Massey, a longtime coach at Long Beach Jordan, complied 503 wins over 28 seasons and coached McDonald’s All-American Travon Bryant. Let’s not forget about the three CIF Southern Section titles and 7 Moore League Championships that he had under his belt.
Certified for Division I college coaches to attend, the Ron Massey Memorial had coaches and scouts alike lining the baselines to evaluate talent from the 50+ teams at McBride High School. All games were livestreamed on BallerTV, GameBook Stats had all of the statistical reports ready immediately after the game, and Spalding provided special game balls for the event.
All in all, it was an outstanding celebration of hoops in Coach Massey’s honor.
“Ron Massey was an educator first and a basketball coach second. In fact, he worked the Nike All-American Camp, but it was on the academic side,” Trigonis said of Massey. “He always loved basketball. Learning and education was a constant endeavor for him.”

Zain Majeed, 6’7, SF/PF, Mater Dei HS (Calif.)
Getting it done inside and out, Zain Majeed brought the game that earned him an invite to the prestigious 2026 Pangos All-American Camp in Vegas. The versatile forward has an outstanding handle, is near automatic from mid-range, and exploits mismatches by posting smaller defenders. Holding near double digit D-1 offers, Majeed is the type of player who could start at a mid-major end finish at a high-major by the time its said and done.
Aidan Boker, 6’4, PG/SG, So Cal Academy (Calif.)
A player that I hadn’t seen prior to the event, Aidan Boker made his presence felt from the tip in a close game against Belmont Shore. Bigger guard who can get to the paint at will, has no problem initiating the offense as a secondary ball-handler, and is comfortable putting points on the board when playing off the ball. Holding a handful of D-1 offers, the Colorado product should be an impact player for So Cal Academy in The Grind Session.
Ender Berg, 6’11, C, Mater Dei HS (Calif.)
An incredibly agile big man, Ender Berg brings the fluidity that you look for in today’s game. The lefty is comfortable scoring with either hand, plays with a motor, and maintained a presence at the rim. Holding offers from the likes of Nevada, UCSB, Loyola, and a host of other mid majors that will certainly grow during his senior season at Mater Dei.
Taijhon Blunt, 6’6, SF, Elev8 Academy / Belmont Shore
Running with both Elev8 and Belmont Shore at the Ron Massey, it was great to get an extended look at Taijohn Blunt. The super athletic lefty swingman was a constant threat at the rim, hit open threes, and provided help as a weak side shot blocker from the perimeter. There’s still definitely room for refinement with Blunt, but he certainly has the physical tools to work with if you’re willing to develop him.
Elijah Goodman, 6’8, SF/PF, Pacifica Christian (Calif.)/ Belmont Shore
Another player that we got to see in action with both settings, it was a great evaluation opportunity to check out Elijah Goodman changing his role with each squad. The angular forward is a smooth 3-point shooter, can beat you off the dribble with his first step, and knows how to get buckets by flashing to open areas. Holding a number of D-2 offers, Goodman is a player who should be signed to a D-1 roster by the end of his senior season.
