A New Jersey woman’s casual use of the N-word and subsequent crash-out led to backlash online. After viewing the footage, the internet doesn’t know whether to laugh or be angry.
A video posted to X on Oct. 26 showed the disheveled white woman aggressively approaching a Black man who was filming in the parking lot of an apartment complex. She was with a male resident who told the man’s white friend to leave the premises. Standing up for his friend, the Black man responded, “Hey, chill out, bro.”
Seemingly out of nowhere, the woman popped into the camera’s view, screaming, “Take your n-gg-r a– out of here!”
Then she attempted to instigate a fight with him. She chased after him as he walked backward, filming her, seemingly forgetting all about his white friend. She boasted she could beat him up, shouting “I’ll kick your f–king a–,” and hurled a few other expletives.
Meanwhile, the man brushed off the threats with a chuckle. His white friend laughed too, likely wondering why she zeroed in on the only Black man.
Viewers in the comments section on X were not shy about calling out her racism. One person posed the age-old question: “Has anybody wondered why skin color is such a trigger for some people?” Another wrote: “Hard ‘R’ Karen goes full ugliest parking lot troll ever.”
Some pointed to Trump and the MAGA culture, saying it “has made every bigot feel emboldened to say the quiet part out loud.” The woman is unidentified, and her political affiliations are not known.
The man filming also drew criticism in the comments, with a few saying he should put down the camera. “There is no need to film everything,” one comment read. “Some things can be swiftly handled off camera without it becoming a thing. If someone charges at you, you have a right to assume an attack and defend yourself, regardless of gender.” According to the video, the woman never made contact, and the two men simply laughed off her threats.
With more than 100,000 views in less than 24 hours, the woman is quickly becoming the latest face of racist meltdowns.
