Natalie Harp has the best seat in the White House to watch over Donald Trump.
The 35-year-old executive aide has become the president’s shadow in recent months.
She routinely carries an overstuffed bag and treads a few feet behind Trump whenever he appears outside the Oval Office.
At times, critics have described Harp as a stand-in for Melania Trump.
Her pop-up on stage at an October rally in Alaska and in September. She stood by Trump like a doting wife during a trip to Ireland, fueled that banter.
Now, insiders claim that Trump has invited the loyal blonde into yet another space.
The New York Times reports that Harp now has a spot in the president’s private dining room.
The publication alleges she “now works out of that room when she is not seated behind the president at his desk.”
Trump reportedly watches TV, makes phone calls, and reviews documents and printed news stories in the room. Harp is mockingly referred to as Trump’s “human printer” by critics.
Her duties purportedly include providing him hard copies of headlines and information that placate his ego.
Speculation has been raised that Natalie Harp’s already close access to Trump could be expanded behind closed doors.
“It’s a promotion for her ….she gets to move from under the resolute desk,” read a sarcastic comment.
Someone else suggested, “Smiley has an ulterior motive, and it’s working.”
This summer, reports surfaced alleging that Harp has been desperately proving her devotion to the Republican well before she became a media spectacle.
Trump biographer Michael Wolff detailed the pair’s strange dynamic in his 2025 book “All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America.”
Wolff wrote about letters Harp allegedly penned to Trump.
The messages concerned insiders. The optics of the relationship appeared alarmingly intimate and “genuinely strange submissiveness.”
Furthermore, Wolff claimed that Harp settled for a makeshift lodging setup in the women’s locker room at Trump’s New Jersey golf resort to make sure she remained close to him.
“That makes it seem more like she’s moving into where Melania usually stands. Almost like she’s replacing her in the way that Melania felt lIvanka was replacing her in the first admin,” said a fourth person about the dining room report.
The first lady’s team addressed affair rumors about Trump and Harp in September.
Senior adviser Marc Beckman told “Stella News” host Stella Escobedo, “They’re [the public] all attacking this hardworking, very talented, very intelligent person in Natalie Harp, and they’re obsessed with the gossip about this first family.”
A fifth reaction read, “BUT where does she actually live? Where does she sleep at night? Does she have a room in the White House?”
Another said, “There’s something seriously wrong with this woman, and no one seems to care about her constantly close proximity to, and unnaturally deep involvement in his daily activities. Her influence reeks of contempt for justice.”
Harp reportedly relocated in 2025 to an apartment in Washington, D.C.
It is widely believed that Melania’s vanishing act meant she never fully moved back into the White House. Some believe that she and her son, Barron Trump, primarily live in New York.
For others, Harp’s loyalty to Trump remains deeply unsettling.
“There’s something seriously wrong with this woman, and no one seems to care about her constantly close proximity to, and unnaturally deep involvement in his daily activities. Her influence reeks of contempt for justice,” according to a skeptic.
Other theories about Harp insinuate that she is Trump’s health aide responsible for helping him with alleged incontinence cleanup and other needs.
However, the White House has not corroborated claims of his steady decline.
