President Donald Trump’s personal sidekick, Natalie Harp, is one of the most talked-about women in Washington for all the wrong reasons.
Natalie made a name for herself as the executive assistant to the president of the United States. But her behavior has fueled the buzz surrounding the 35-year-old’s meteoric rise to prominence.
Harp’s estranged brother, Preston Harp, is now sharing insight into their past and his sister’s constant presence near the 80-year-old Trump.

In a CNN interview on Aug. 18, a reporter asked Preston to share what he thinks drew Natalie to the Republican president.
He immediately discussed the right-wing ideology their mother taught them, including her lessons on “American exceptionalism.”
“I think that my sister, unfortunately, didn’t break out of that delusion that our mom raised us with, and Trump is like everything that our mom taught us to respect,” Preston shared.
He continued, “I think that’s where her infatuation for Trump comes from, honestly, because I don’t think it’s a physical attraction. Let’s get real.”
On the same day that Preston appeared with Burnett, Natalie was back in the headlines. A new report claimed that the Liberty University graduate had a major meltdown over Trump.
In October 2023, a year before Trump won the 2024 election, Natalie reportedly got into a screaming match in the lobby of Trump Tower in New York City.
Unnamed sources told CNN she was upset over not getting a seat in the motorcade headed to Trump’s court hearing and refused to be left behind.
Natalie allegedly jumped into the trunk of an SUV to make sure she was with Trump at the courthouse. The story went super-viral overnight.
“That’s really funny. I didn’t know about that,” a laughing Preston responded when learning that Natalie was willing to ride around NYC like luggage.
Preston’s amusement over his sister’s Trump infatuation quickly turned into sorrow. He stated, “It’s actually kind of sad. That’s obsession. That’s like an unhealthy obsession with someone.”
Trump’s right-hand woman took center stage when Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan released their “Regime Change” book in June.
The two New York Times journalists revealed that Natalie writes loving notes to Trump. One message supposedly read, “You are all that matters to me.”
“Regime Change” also made Natalie’s behind-the-scenes nickname an online meme. White House insiders reportedly call her the “human printer.”
Natalie maintains her close connection to the president by printing positive stories about Trump. She reportedly carries a wireless printer for the task.
Apparently, Natalie’s fixation with the POTUS dates back to her childhood. Her brother claims his sister spent her teenage years infatuated with Trump’s predecessors.
“I’d say since she was like 16, she’s had an obsession with … gosh, how do I explain this? She’s written letters to other presidents, let me put it that way,” Preston recalled.
Furthermore, Preston insinuated that Natalie often fantasized about being a yes-woman to a president, adding, “Her dream came through finally.”
He then named former President George W. Bush as one of Natalie’s previous presidential crushes, particularly during the Iraq War years.
Clips from Preston’s CNN segment spread across the internet. His takes on Trump’s supposed favorite female staffer ignited heated reactions.
One sarcastic X user tweeted, “A young woman attracted to powerful men, gets a job in the White House. Where have I heard this story before?”
Critics called her everything from a “presidential groupie” to a “creepy stalker.” One person simply typed, “Yikes.”
In contrast, someone defended Harp, writing, “The Jeepers, have we learned nothing? Go after Trump. Not the woman. He’s the [godd–n] president.”
“This is actually a very sad story,” posted a sympathetic commenter. However, Harp remained in the social media bullseye.
“She had a type!” joked one X User. Meanwhile, another suggested, “She has daddy issues. He committed suicide. Clearly something is very off with Natalie.”
Preston and Natalie’s father took his own life in 2020. That loss created a massive split in the family, which has separated the siblings ever since.
Around the same time, Natalie was crediting Trump’s “Right to Try” legislation for saving her life by giving her access to an experimental drug that she credits with saving her life after a bone cancer diagnosis. She praised the former reality television star onstage at the 2020 Republican National Convention.
